Kyon, your typical high school student, has long given up his belief in the supernatural. When Haruhi laments about the lack of intriguing clubs around school, Kyon inspires Haruhi to form her own club. As a result, the SOS Brigade is formed, a club which specializes in all that is the supernatural.Much to his chagrin, Kyon, along with the silent bookworm, Yuki Nagato, the shy and timid Mikuru Asahina, and the perpetually smiling Itsuki Koizumi, are recruited as members. The story follows the crazy adventures that these four endure under their whimsical leader, Haruhi. The story is based on the light novels by Nagaru Tanigawa.

Things get awkward when everyone realises just how serious she is about it all and establishes the SOS Brigade. What makes her quite ominous though is her unimaginable power to actually change the world, but she is totally unaware of her own power and so she is also unaware of the affect of her power on the outside world. The cynical Kyon, a friend at the SOS Brigade, is among the few who knows of Haruhi's power, and is desperately trying to keep the world together.

Haruhi Suzumiya je nesmierne krásna, inteligentná a sebavedomá stredoškoláčka. Dievčatá by ju mohli obdivovať a chlapci pred ňou padať na kolená. Má však jeden drobný háčik. Je šialená! Od všetkých sa drží čo najďalej, pretože ako sama tvrdí, obyčajní ľudia ju vôbec nezaujímajú. Naopak by srdečne uvítala všetkých mimozemšťanov, cestovateľov v čase, či dokonca "esperov" (bytosti s nadprirodzenými schopnosťami). S podobným zámerom sa preto v škole rozhodne založiť aj vlastný klub s názvom "S.O.S Brigade". Vstúpiť doň môže každý. No buďte opatrní! Haruhi je totižto skutočným magnetom na paranormálne problémy…
První den prvního ročníku střední školy. Noví spolužáci se před třídou představují, vládne uvolněná atmosféra, až se slova chopí hnědovlasá sličná slečna: "Haruhi Suzumiya z Východní základní školy. Obyčejní lidé mě nezajímají. Pokud je zde nějaký mimozemšťan, cestovatel časem nebo jasnovidec, ať se ozve. To je všechno!" Smrtelně vážná tvář nenapovídá, že by žertovala, a dny následující jí dají za pravdu. Po mimozemšťanech, cestovatelích časem či jasnovidcích však ani vidu, ani slechu, přičemž ve školních klubech rádobyzaměřených na "paranormální jevy" nelze pořídit lépe. A neexistuje-li oddíl, jenž by vás naplňoval, co můžete udělat? To uvidíte v seriálu, který je adaptací prvního z osmi románů o této energické slečně.(yenn)

Zprvu se zdá být vše v normálu a Haruhi plánuje na Vánoce další akci SOS Brigády. Druhý den ale Kyon po příchodu do školy zjišťuje, že Haruhi a Itsuki zmizeli a Nagato ani Mikuru si na Kyona a jejich zážitky nevzpomínají.(profhubert)
Je prosinec, další "obvyklý" den v životě Kyona. Haruhi si na Vánoce vymyslí "Vánoční párty". Jenže co se nestane dalšího dne? Kyon přijde do školy a zjistí, že Haruhi zmizela, nikdo neví, že kdy existovala. Koizumi s celou svou třídou úplně zmizel. Asahina ho vůbec nepoznává a z Nagato je obyčejná stydlivka. Celý Kyonův vesmír je naruby. Ovšem je odhodlán svůj "svět" získat zpět!
* Adaptation of Tanigawa Nagaru's fourth Suzumiya Haruhi light novel.It is mid-December, and SOS Brigade chief Suzumiya Haruhi announces that the brigade is going to hold a Christmas party in their clubroom, with Japanese hotpot for dinner. The brigade members Kyon, Nagato Yuki, Asahina Mikuru and Koizumi Itsuki start preparing everything for the party, such as costumes and decorations. But a couple of days later, Kyon arrives at school only to find that Haruhi is missing. Not only that, but Mikuru claims she has never known Kyon before, Koizumi is also missing, and Yuki has become the sole member of the literature club. The SOS Brigade seems to have never existed, nor has Suzumiya Haruhi. No one in the school has ever heard about her... except for Kyon.Now it is up to him to travel back through time to find Haruhi and correct the temporal anomaly.
One cold Christmas day, Kyon heads over to school and the SOS Brigade's holiday celebration, only to realize that Haruhi Suzumiya seems to have disappeared. Moreover, no one even remembers her or the SOS Brigade; Mikuru Asahina knows nothing and is now afraid of him, and Itsuki Koizumi has also gone missing. The Literature Club, formed only by an uncharacteristically shy Yuki Nagato, now occupies the old SOS club room.Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu is based on the fourth light novel of the acclaimed Haruhi series and is set after the events of the anime series. Tato kulometná dávka bláznivých nápadů je vlastně tečkou za televizní sérií Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu (2006). Využívá původních postav i prostředí, jenže místo vážného tónu jde spíše o groteskní podívanou plnou šílených akcí a úderného humoru. Komediální rysy všech postav byly extrémně posíleny a Suzumiya Haruhi už jedná naprosto bez zábran, takže mají členové SOS brigády i jejich okolí o zábavu postaráno. Hodně překvapí i Nagato, která to také pořádně rozjede.Díky naprosto nové grafice sice všichni vypadají vyloženě dětsky, jenže tomu odpovídá i přímočarost a bezprostřednost veškerého jejich jednání. Tady si nikdo s ničím velké starosti nedělá!
* A comical spin-off of the ever popular Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu television series that originally aired back in 2006.It involves all the major characters in more child-like forms of their animated selves going through various spoofs of previous plot lines. Examples include Nagato and the dreaded laptop with the twist of having hentai on it, face-offs with the rack of costumes that were stuffed in the corner of the club room, and dodge ball tournaments on crack.

An anime adaptation of the 4-panel strip manga release: Nyoron Churuya-san. Based on Suzumiya Haruhi's energetic and 'always up to go' character, Tsuruya.Churuya is a girl with a strong passion for smoked cheese. But Kyon and the rest of the crew know this, and they make use of the weakness. They make her do all kinds of things with smoked cheese as a possible reward. But Churuya isn't aware of this evil plot, thus she maintains the effort for the sake of cheese. Each day is a struggle to get the beloved smoked cheese, but it's much harder than she could ever imagine!
For the chibi-sized, adorable Churuya-san, the world seems big and hard, just like a chunk of smoked cheese - a delicious morsel that she wants nothing more than to get her hands on. Kyon, Haruhi and the rest of the gang always seem to tease her, and her quest for the dairy delight is constantly thwarted by rain, changed plans, and other wacky misadventures!
